Ways to Recycle Old Newspapers
63In our country, many homes keep old newspapers to be sold to street buyers by the kilo. The buyers sell them to different end-users like to recyclers to be recycled to newsprint paper again, or the wet market to be used as wrapping paper or other commercial outlets that use old newspaper for wrapping or cushion for fragile products.
Other some uses at home or office:
- As a protective covering when some painting is being done.
- Used to soak up liquids accidentally spilled on the floor.
- Reference or source for cutting out photos for school assignment or projects.
- For papier mache.
- A layer of newspaper when some messy work needs to be done on a clean surface.
- Wrapper and protection for storing breakables in a box.
- For house dogs trained to poop on newspaper.
- For handling and moving greasy or oily objects.
- Roll it up as swatter for pesky insects.

I think a newspaper hat could be a lot of fun. But that would only take care of a small part of your problem. My town offers a recycling program. We put our paper and plastic products in a bin and once a week it gets picked up with our trash.

Nice easy list. Thanks. I have enough newspapers here to probably fill 4 large garbage bags and not really sure what to do with it. Throwing it away does seem like a waste, doesn't it?
